1.   Jebel Jais

The highest peak in the UAE is Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah, which stands at 1,934 meters above sea level. The sunrise and sunset views from the mountain of this Ras Al Khaimah tourist place are breathtaking. The 35-kilometer road to the summit of the hill has eight hairpin bends and other difficult corners, making it one of the world’s best roads. It also has the world’s longest zip line, which attracts adventurers from all over the world.

The mountain belongs to the Hajar mountains, and the route that leads up to or through it is known as the Jebel Jais mountain road. Ascend the cliffs to see rocky cliffs, deep valleys, and twisting escarpments. The road has three lanes, two of which go up, and the temperature at the summit is 10 to 13 degrees cooler than at sea level.

2.   Jazirat Al Hamra

Jazirat al-Hamra is a small, rural fishing village that depicts the region’s lifestyle prior to the discovery of oil. It is among the most beautifully maintained and oldest seaside settlements in the United Arab Emirates. A Ras Al Khaimah tourist place, with origins dating back to the 16th century.

Pearl diving and fishing were the major sources of income for the village’s residents. The arid, desert climatic conditions helped preserve the region after they left in 1968. The village’s main attraction is its coral black dwellings, which are built in the traditional style and include mosques, wind towers, businesses, and schools.

3.   Ras Al Khaimah National Museum

Ras Al-Khaimah Museum is a Veritable Box of historical marvels of the emirate, once serving as the house of the former monarch until the 1960s. The museum has a large collection of intriguing ancient artifacts on display. The place with such an intriguing legacy is a must-visit for history buffs and is located in the city’s old town region. Well, I love to see museums, so this is my favorite Ras Al Khaimah tourist places

4.   Shimal

Shimal is a small hamlet with a rich history and a plethora of pre-Islamic tombs. Shimal is a small rural community nestled within the Hajar Mountains, located north of Ras Al Khaimah city. The site is rich in archaeological significance, with hundreds of pre-Islamic burials. Settlement in the area dates back to roughly 2000-1300 BC, according to documents and historical studies.

Several objects, including pottery, bronze and copper swords, stone vessels, and beads, were discovered during the excavations. However, the most significant discovery in this Ras Al Khaimah tourist place is the discovery of a massive circular tomb from the Umm al-Nar period. Husn al-Shimal Fort, a small Islamic fort positioned high above a rocky ridge, may also be seen.

5.   Hajar Mountain

The Hajar Mountains provide a stunning backdrop to Ras Al Khaimah tourist places, adding to the emirate’s natural beauty.

The majestic Hajar Mountains are a key feature of the emirate, adding to its visual splendor and serving as a popular tourist attraction. The range dips into the ocean, with its loftiest point pointing north. 6.   Al Hamra Mall

Al Hamra Mall has 45,000 square meters and offers inhabitants and visitors to the neighborhood a complete entertainment and retail experience. This contains approximately 120 shop outlets providing anything from electronics to clothing to furniture to food. A large food court is also located within the mall. Over 12 restaurants and a large food court provide a variety of cuisines in the mall. Children can enjoy rides and a variety of fun activities at Fun Ville, which is located within Al Hamra Mall, while adults can see a film at Vox Cinema.

Wadi Shawka is a renowned hiking site in Ras Al Khaimah tourist place, that is regarded as an exploration hike. Since it offers a variety of activities such as off-road drives, pool dips, natural springs, greenery, and mountain views. The Shawka trail is worth exploring because of its tough terrain and magnificent mountain backdrop.

Wadi Shawka, located just 92 kilometers from Dubai, has proven to be one of the most popular trekking, camping, and picnic spots. The hike will almost certainly be a unique experience, allowing you to visit small towns, meet the residents, wander through the changing terrain, and enjoy a BBQ on the banks of Wadi Shawka.
